Mission Landscape Supports Sustainability Are part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, Irvine-based Mission Landscape has initiated a test program of organic fertilizer in Aliso Viejo's Grand Park. The location is adjacent to Town Center, and plays host to community events such as The Spring Event, Fourth of July Fireworks Show, Summer Concert Series and Movies in the Park. The organic fertilizer will benefit the environment by limiting or eliminating harmful chemical runoff into stormdrains which reach sensitive areas like Aliso Creek and South County coastal waters.
ParkSafety.org Student Lunch Fund
Our organization has launched a Student Lunch Fund to assist those families who have limited ability to provide a lunch or lunch money for their kids. ParkSafety.org is making the initial contribution for a fund at local elementary schools in the hopes that concerned businesses will assist. No money is collected by ParkSafety.org. We encourage you to send your contribution directly to the school of your choice. If your business would like to assist, please e-mail us at safety@parksafety.org for more information, or a postage paid, pre-addressed envelope. Thank you for your help!
We are always looking for a worthy cause, and a project that will teach responsibility and safety to kids in the community. If you have an idea for a community service project in or around local parks, let us know, and let us know how we can help. ParkSafety.org wants to promote positive use of our parks, and a focus on community development. Just e-mail us at safety@parksafety.org.
